The Gearworks pinion support is crafted from 2024 T-351 billet and deep hard anodised black. Designed for endurance racing, it features a lubrication passage for cooler operation and uses industry-standard bearings for cost efficiency, outperforming drag racing-focused alternatives. Pinion Shim Set

Pinion shim set is designed for Ford 9″ cases using 7/16" pinion support bolts. (All Gearworks cases come this way). These are high quality USA made steel shims with tabs that have the thickness stamped into them 0.010″ to 0.021″.

  • Chromoly steel main caps & spanner nuts prevent deflection and gear failure.
  • Secured with 9/16″ ARP studs for maximum strength.

Gearworks 40 spline spool is made from 4140 Chromoly making it one of the strongest 40 spline 2.00″ journal spools on the market, it has both 1/2″ and 7/16″ bolt holes and the ring gear flange is pre-machined for load bolt cases.

Note For Use with Small Bearing Cases - it can be fitted to Big Bearing Cases but we would recommend using the 40 Spline XHD Spool for this - Pt No - GWC5040XHD.
