This clever cap stops premature spring wear  often experienced using the metal spring cap.

This Extreme duty version is manufactured from high grade Stainless Steel and eliminates spring wear by guiding the spring arm out of the pawl, reducing fret wear to the pawl arm.
Supplied with a new pawl spring, M6 cap-head bolt & washer to suit Gigglepin winches (8274 owners will need to re-use their existing bolt), it’s easy to fit and maintenance free, it’s a fast and effective upgrade for your winch.
