This is a conversion kit to change the (swan neck) drop arm on the Defender to the (straight) Discovery drop arm. This is a common upgrade for a Defender as it eliminates the pressed in ball joint ( that wears out quickly) in the swan neck drop arm and replaces it with a standard track rod end which is much easier to replace,  without the need for a press.

The picture above shows the 2 different Drop Arms, the lower one is the Straight Discovery Drop Arm that is included in our kit. As you can see it uses a track rod end and not a pressed in ball joint that is difficult to replace.

The kit includes -

1 x Sumo 830 HD or Sumo Stainless Steel 830 XHD Drag Link  (select from 'Options Tab Above),
1 x L/H thread H/ Duty Greasable Track Rod End.      
1 x R/H thread H/ Duty Greasable Track Rod End.      
1 x GL79 RHD/LHD damper mount Eye/Pin.
1 x Disco drop arm straight RHD/LHD
